Dr. Krishna Mikkilineni is Senior Vice President, Engineering and Information Technology.
He leads the Honeywell Technology Leadership Council and oversees the effectiveness of research, development, engineering, and customer service, strengthening the ability to create differentiated products and solutions for our markets across the globe. Krishna also was responsible for overseeing the institutionalization of Honeywell Operating System and increasing dedication to quality, delivery, and customer service throughout the organization. He also coordinated the deployment of the Honeywell User Experience as a key enabler into the overall business system. Krishna leads the Information Technology function, driving its transformation to be an efficient and effective organization that both enables strong internal operations, as well as providing new business capabilities. Krishna also is building capabilities across the company that will enable us to provide leading software-driven solutions across a broad range of industries.
Since joining Honeywell three decades ago, Krishna has been instrumental in leading globalization initiatives, establishing worldwide processes, successfully executing large-scale, multi-location projects, and leveraging talent in emerging regions to meet Honeywell product development needs. As President of Honeywell Technology Solutions, he grew the organization to nearly 9,000 engineers across China, India, Eastern Europe, and Mexico and established operations with a high software maturity. Krishna started his career in research and development and managed our first software and data technologies team and then moved onto integrating design, development, and operations through concurrent engineering programs in industrial systems businesses. He was responsible for adding several thousand software engineers to Honeywell and managing numerous software and systems programs.
Krishna earned a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications and a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Florida. He also has received a number of recognitions at Honeywell, including the Lund Award for leadership excellence and the Senior Leadership Award, the company's highest honor.
